Axistence Athletics’ mission is to create adventure athletes and prepare them for the obstacles that they will face. Mission accomplished after climbing to the top of the Manitou Springs Incline.
The Incline is less than a mile long, however, it rises in elevation by 2,000 feet. So while it seems like a simple hike, it’s literally the stairwell to hell. However, anything can be accomplished when you have an amazing community around you. At the top of the Incline, 30 friends await you cheering for you in your last moments of hell holding a cold beer to share with you. I don’t think life gets much better than that!
Finding a gym that not only pushes you to be better but supports you in all that you do is the dream. I would never have thought of a little over a year ago when I started at CrossFit that it would change my life. It has to lead me to goals and adventures I would never have imagined and a support system that is there for me no matter what. What’s even more amazing is the support and help in my photography. The gym continues to find ways to use me for photography and only has bigger goals in mind for my trade. Needless to say, I’m excited to be a part of this amazing gym and I’m even more excited for all that the future holds.
